The UCA Foundation, Inc. is a private corporation non-profit existing solely to benefit the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. Foundation funds come from the UCA phonathon, direct mail and personal contact with donors. The forerunner to the foundation, the UCA Endowment and Trust Fund, was created in 1977 as a public charity. In 1981, it became the UCA Foundation, Inc., a non-profit corporation classified as a public charity.
Founded in 1907, UCA Is a four-year institution with nearly 150 academic programs and certificates within the colleges of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences; Business; Education; Health and Behavioral Sciences; and Science and Engineering; and the Graduate School. UCA welcomed one of its largest incoming freshman classes in fall 2024 with 2,183 students, a 26% increase from the previous year. Overall enrollment for fall 2024 at UCA is 10,123 which is a 3.4% gain from the previous year.
